Explanation
Tehzib-ul-Akhlaq was initiated in 1871 by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, a prominent Muslim reformer. This Urdu-language magazine aimed to promote social, educational, and religious reforms within the Muslim community. It was published from 1871 to 1897, reflecting Sir Syed's vision of morality as the basis for progress. Although its publication ceased in 1961, it was revived in 1981 under the leadership of Syed Hamid, the Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University.
